Compact, powerful, and versatile, the Allen & Heath SQ-7 is the largest mixer in the SQ series, designed to meet the needs of demanding audio professionals. It features 32+1 motorised faders, 32+1 onboard preamps, 16 assignable SoftKeys, and 8 assignable Soft Rotaries.
Processing & FX
Powered by the 96 kHz XCVI FPGA engine, the SQ-7 delivers class-leading high resolution audio quality with ultra-low latency (<0.7 ms). Fully loaded with features, the surface includes a 7″ capacitive touchscreen, rapid access to channel processing, and an expansive workflow ideal for live, installation and recording environments.
On-board I/O
The onboard hardware of SQ-7 includes 32+1 mic/line preamps and 2 stereo line inputs, plus 16 XLR line outputs and 2 TRS line outputs, with AES digital output on board.
Control & Expandability
With 32+1 faders across six layers, the SQ-7 gives vast control space in a singular console. Remote control is enhanced via companion apps for tablet/phone operation. Upto 64×64 I/O expansion is supported via SLink and optional cards for Dante, Waves, MADI protocols.
Recording & Streaming
Integrated recording features include SQ-Drive direct to USB (stereo and multitrack) and 32×32 96kHz USB audio streaming for computer integration.
