The Story
BNS2218 is a high bass output subwoofer which uses a three cavity bandpass design. Loaded with 2 x 18" low frequency drivers. Each low frequency driver has an indpendent cavity. Two paper cones work together in front of the third open cavity, which greatly improves the system's efficiency and effectively reduces distortion.
BNS2218 uses multilayer birch plywood to minimise the weight of the enclosure and it is coated with a durable layer of paint. The front mesh has a layer of acoustic mirrorcell foam to protect the driver from exposure to dust.
Side panels feature 4 handles at each end for different lifting options.
4 caster points are located at the rear to assist with transport of the sub.
Terminals feature NL4 connections. When more than one BNS2218 are stacked together, there are 4 rubber feet at the bottom of each box to prevent sub from moving.
